Although the total figure of Interims built is very questionable nowadays, this particular car is one of the rarest steel bodied/350 block combinations. The car was delivered new to Jake Kaplan, Rhode Island, then East coast importer. On behalf of the NY-based Italian owner Maurizio Sainaghi the car got refurbished in black leather in northern Italy approx. 15 years ago. Han Pomp – a Germany based Dutch Lamborghini enthusiast – bought the car some 10 years ago on behalf of a friend who puts it up for sale right now. Car was originally delivered in bianco spino (white) and has a beautiful quality red paint job. The engine runs well and smooth and compression of each cylinder is above 11 (bar). This car is in a beautiful very fine original condition with a fine straight body, the original Borranis are in need of some polishing.

Espada "Series 1" 10001 1966 Orange Red - Cento Italy - - This car was the first Espada prototype fitted with a Lamborghini V12, engine #5001. As you can see it still have the doors from the Marzal prototype, but these doors was not very practical, because you could not open them if someone parked to close to you. The car is now located at the Tonino Lamborghini Museum in Cento, Italy, and has been fitted with a "series II" interior, (there was no interior in the original prototype).

Urraco P300 20342 1976 Blue Metallic Creame Dark Darien, Connecticut United States Rein Vosari rvosari@yahoo.com For Sale - Urraco 20342 was built in September of 1976 and delivered to Achilli Motors in Milan in October for its first owner, the son of a textile magnate. Colors: Blue Notte exterior and tan interior with the special order instrument panel in desirable black leather not alcantra. During the course of his 6 year ownership the vehicle was regularly serviced by either Achilli or the Lamborghini Factory. Due to a faulty connecting rod the engine was damaged and was rebuilt by Lamborghini at approximately 25,000 kilometers. Further in May of 1983 the transmission was overhauled at the factory and 2 synchronizer rings and the gearbox oil pump was replaced, along with all seals, at approximately 40,000 kilometers. I purchased the car in late 1983 from the owner with Classic Cars SRL in Milan acting as brokers. In the summer of 1984 the car was imported into the US. The vehicle has all applicable DOT and EPA compliance documentation. I have used the vehicle on a regular basis and all systems and components have been overhauled or replaced at least once. In 1987 the car became the subject of an estimated $ 50,000 engine development program, with the brief to increase power and make the engine as reliable as humanly possible. Details can be found on the Lamborghini Registry The vehicle has mostly original paint in good condition. The body has no accident damage whatsoever. It should be noted that it was built at a time when the bodies and sub-frame were brought directly from Bertone and assembled at Lamborghini without spending months sitting outside exposed to the elements and accumulating rust. A leak-down test performed in late 2010 showed less than 4% on all cylinders…for comparison purposes a P-300 with 32,000 original kilometers showed leak-down between 11-17 % ! All shift rails in the transmission have been polished, ensuring a significantly lighter and more precise shift effort. The interior is in very good original condition. The vehicle currently shows 77,000 and the latest iteration of the motor has approximately 22,700 kilometers. Price: 48,000 Euro.
