This is one of the rare 6 350 GT Interims built.
Although the total figure of Interims built is very questionable nowadays, this particular car is one of the rarest steel bodied/350 block combinations.
The car was delivered new to Jake Kaplan, Rhode Island, then East coast importer.
On behalf of the NY-based Italian owner Maurizio Sainaghi the car got refurbished in black leather in northern Italy approx. 15 years ago.
Han Pomp – a Germany based Dutch Lamborghini enthusiast – bought the car some 10 years ago on behalf of a friend who puts it up for sale right now.
Car was originally delivered in bianco spino (white) and has a beautiful quality red paint job.
The engine runs well and smooth and compression of each cylinder is above 11 (bar).
This car is in a beautiful very fine original condition with a fine straight body, the original Borranis are in need of some polishing. |

This is the first 350 GT 2+1. It was finished on the 9th of March 1964, and displayed at the Geneva Motor Show 3 days later on the 12th of March 1964. This early 350 GT still had the 6 exhaustpipes from the 350 GTV, and at the motor show the engine of the 350 GTV was displayed next to it along with another 350 GT chassis end engine. |
